NEC will triple the speed of data transfer via USB 3.0

NEC has officially announced the development of new technology, can speed data transfer USB 3.0 interface, up to 16 Gb / s. Recall that the USB 3.0 specification provides for data transmission up to 5 Gbps.

As stated by NEC, the technology uses a method of conventional adaptive correction (Conventional equalizers correct) distorted input signal receiver through the return of the data obtained in a specially prepared input signal (the latter split into two with a time delay between them), thereby reducing the interference of neighboring interbitovoy. According to experts, in this technology has a major drawback: with increasing speed time to return operation signal is reduced, which makes the distortion correction difficult.

However, NEC believes that its new technology can become the basis for future high-speed communication interfaces. At the moment, this technology has not yet obdobrena USB Implementers Forum. However, the Japanese company has already proved that the interface is USB 3.0 and its ilk have enormous potential.
