Different types of flexible displays have been around for a while, so it is logical to expect that sooner or later will be developed and flexible touch-sensitive display. And so it happened - the Center for flexible displays, University of Arizona and its partners, was presented to the world's first flexible touch-sensitive display. It was developed for military purposes and in the electrophoresis display device uses an active matrix of the company's E-Ink Corp, as well as a special material from DuPont Teijin Films, instead of glass, which is commonly used in sensory displays. Due to the lack of solid glass it is much thinner than conventional touch screens. In such displays the user can write, draw, erase or save all that is written. The prospects for such displays is very high - in fact they are, in fact, are the first step towards the interactive electronic newspapers with color (!) Display, which in addition will collapse or fold to hide in your pocket or handbag. But the developers believe that the displays to consumers of this kind will arrive no earlier than one year and a half.
