
Pixel Qi officially announced that it would begin mass production LCD HDTV for its unique technology in the next month, says Slash Gear. Moreover, the U.S. company has reported that at present its experts working on supercheap LCD panels with extremely low power consumption. According to preliminary estimates, the cost of such LCD HDTV will be about $ 100. As their power, then this figure will not exceed 10 watts. Recall that most modern LCD HDTV consumption of 100 watts per hour and above.
It is unclear when the Pixel Qi is planning to launch such HDTV, but they certainly will enjoy high demand among users in developing countries.
